Here are a few links I refer to frequently. I will be adding more links in the future, so come
back often.
The Coalition of Independent Authors. This site gives indie authors a voice and, more important, a web presence. They are authors helping authors market their books. www.coalition-independent-authors.com
Funds for Writers. You won’t be able to quit work and write, but you might find a grant to make your writing goals easier to reach. They also have lists of contests and newsletters. http://www.fundsforwriters.com/
Poetry Aside. This blog is all about poetry, and Robert is the one who sponsors Writer’s Digest’s Poem-A-Day Challenge in April for Poetry Month. If you’ve never attempted the challenge, you’ll find it can be incredibly helpful for your writing. http://www.writersdigest.com/editor-blogs/poetic-asides
Poetry Foundation. Great site for interviews and podcasts – you can have an audio poem sent to you every day. http://www.poetryfoundation.org/
There are No Rules. Also from Writer’s Digest. This is all about marketing and technology. http://www.writersdigest.com/editor-blogs/there-are-no-rules
